CryptoWalls, solFANS, ActionWalls - what's with all these names?
CryptoWalls: the project that allows displaying interactive wallpaper NFT collections natively on different platforms.
solFANS: the initial NFT wallpaper collection launching with CryptoWalls.
ActionWalls: ActionWalls: the company owned by @chrismlacy that develops solFANS and CryptoWalls, along with other wallpaper projects such as SwirlWalls.
Why is solFANS using Solana instead of Ethereum?

There's lots of scams with NFTs - why should I trust this project?
This is not a get-rich-quick PFP project being thrown together by a pseudo-anonymous two-month-old Twitter profile.
The name and face behind this project is me, @chrismlacy. I'm approaching a decade of history creating & delivering consumer friendly apps.
My focus over the last 2+ years has been developing ActionWalls and the apps & tools required to usher in a new generation of wallpaper apps. And I'm excited to explore how actually owning your wallpaper via an NFT can expand the possibilities for wallpapers.

Will I have to purchase a solFANS NFT to use the CryptoWalls mobile app?
No. The CryptoWalls apps will always allow anyone to browse and interact with all available wallpapers in the app itself.
During the public CryptoWalls preview, anyone will be able to set any wallpaper as their device wallpaper.
Shortly after the solFANS collection is sold, the mobile app will update to only allow the verified owner to set an item as the device wallpaper.
Folks wanting to use solFANS style wallpapers without purchasing an NFT should check out our entirely free to use SwirlWalls app 🙂
Does iPhone support live wallpapers?
Yes and no.
iOS supports what it calls "live wallpapers" which are Live Photos that you can long tap to animate on the lock screen. As it happens, this works really well for solFANS style wallpapers 🙂
But a fully interactive live wallpaper experience on the actual home screen (as available on Android) is not currently possible on iOS. If/when that changes, you can be sure support will be added!
